Chamber Member Spotlight: Strickland Hollow, Café at the Tasting Room

Strickland Hollow is a farm and distillery as well as a bottleshop, cooking school, and now most recently, they have opened up for lunch and dinner. The Café at the Tasting Room is European inspired, serving conserva, charcuterie, fresh pasta, house-made sausage, artisan cocktails and more. 


The Café is open Wednesdays from 11am-4pm and again at 5pm for pizza night. They are open on Thursday from 11am-4pm and Friday-Saturday from 11am-8pm. By now you have certainly heard of EightyMain, the restaurant on Main Street in Delhi that has recently celebrated its first year of business. Chef Will, originally from Brooklyn, NY, works tirelessly to make this place delicious and special. The restaurant offers fantastic pasta dishes, locally sourced meats and produce, artisan cocktails, and a great selection of wine and beer. They are excited to offer a Mid-Day Menu on Saturdays and Sundays from 12pm-3:30pm. Interwoven Wellness Collective is a new business in Delhi, NY, offering the area a much needed place to unwind and receive healing. They offer massage therapy, acupuncture, infrared sauna treatment, Shamanic sessions, Chakra balancing, yoga, and other practices all aimed at improving physical, mental and spiritual health. The Collective was started by Kelsey Adams and Tobais Maendel, who have been partners in the wellness profession and partners in life for over 11 years.

Tay Tea on Main Street in Delhi was founded by Nini Ordoubadi in 2003. Drawing from her family history as a third generation tea blender, Nini finds tea to be her muse and inspiration. Member Spotlight: The Inn at Tollgate Creek

The Inn at Tollgate Creek is a peaceful stay in an 1840s farmhouse bed and breakfast. The house is located in a lovely rural setting and has been in the family since 1890. Like many farms in the area, the Inn was originally a dairy farm, but since then Kevin and Kathy have adapted and now raise Highland beef, hogs, chickens, turkey and a variety of herbs and vegetables. While at the Inn, you can experience farm activities or relax and enjoy the stunning waterfall or visit the Delaware River.

Chamber Member Spotlight: Heart of The Catskills Humane Society

The Heart of the Catskills Humane Society is a small shelter with huge heart taking care of rescues and strays until they find their forever home in the Catskill mountains. This shelter has been around for over 50 years and diligently serves the greater Delhi area. They have a thrift shop on site that sells a variety of items from clothing for humans and animals to water dishes, books, glassware and everything in between. 


For the first time since the pandemic, the Humane Society is hosting an in-person fundraiser. On Saturday, June 17th, The shelter is excited to welcome you to enjoy a night of dinner, dancing and fundraising among fellow animal lovers. Located on Route 28 next to a huge pond with ample parking and space to eat inside or out, this homemade ice cream is to be enjoyed often! Steady Slope Fields and Forest began in the spring of 2019 when Amanda and Christopher moved from NYC to create a space for people to enjoy nature, find community in a rural setting and move in a softer manner than city living. They have since built a beautiful place for primitive camping, glamping and private stays in a suite. There is a luxurious sauna and outdoor tub available for relaxation and healing.

Chamber Member Spotlight: Delaware County Historical Society

The Delaware County Historical Association was founded in 1945 to preserve and share the history of Delaware County. In the early 60’s the Association purchased the historic Frisbee house which served as a meeting ground for 18th century politicians who formed Delaware County, and now as a meeting ground for young historians and those interested in knowing more about the county. 


This summer the Historical Association will be hosting a number of interesting events. The amazing grounds of the Frisbee House, with a blacksmith shop, one-room schoolhouse, gun shop, toll gate and other outbuildings, will open for the season on May 27th.

The Civil War Reenactment “Clash of the Catskills” will happen on July 8th and 9th. Saturday, July 29th will be an Enchanted Evening at the Gideon Frisbee House that will feature an extensive dish to pass buffet and live music with a dessert buffet finishing out the evening!
