The Delaware County Historical Association was founded in 1945 to preserve and present the history of Delaware County. They continue this work today and offer a variety of events and workshops that shine light on the ever evolving culture of the area. Currently on display until Sunday, September 29th, is Quilts Along the Delaware, a show displaying quilts made by the Delaware County Town and Country Quilters. This family owned farm and orchard grows apples and pumpkins, and continues their ancestral family tradition by producing Maple Syrup on the 104-acre property. Steady Slope Fields & Forest is a place to stay, either camping, glamping, or in the suite, a place to sauna, and a place to come for events. Livestock Foundation is a non-profit in Bovina, NY, that supports a series of interconnected initiatives with a focus on revitalizing properties for the public benefit and sponsoring community programs to promote the human, economic, and natural resources of the local rural community.
